Description: Bracket clock with silvered brass handle at top of case, vertical rectangle case with curving top, glass panel forms rear of clock case, flanked by two sides having glass panels covered with pierced decorative metalwork, shaped front door with glass panel opens, face of silvered brass with some losses contains two circular faces, the upper marked "strike" at top and "silent" at bottom and the lower face containing the clock hour and minute digits, two hands and the maker's name and town above the center of the hands, engraved floral and swag motifs at each of four exterior corners and surrounding the upper face. The whole resting on four silvered brass animal paw feet. Eight day mechanism.

The rear glass door opens to reveal the brass back of the mechanism featuring a tri-partite feather in oval centering elaborate floral engraving

Label inside rear case reads "Gordon Converse, Antiquarian Horologist, 224 Lenoir Avenue, 687-6604, Wayne, PA 19087
