Description: Wide, low box with overhanging top featuring around the edges double incised lines which cross at corners, the top double-hinged at center; the two flaps open to reveal on one side a compartment divided into three equal squares (one with canted corners formed by small metal inserts), the other side a single compartment with maker's marks stamped on the bottom; the whole resting on four partial bun feet of metal cylinders cut off at bottom edge.

If yes, transcribe directly: four marks, left to right: 1) a "sun" or "petal" of equal length radiating lines, 2) "X", 3) within a horizontal rectangle shield, either "A & backwards B" or "B & V", and 4) a shield shaped like a pumpkin, no central letters visible.
