Object Term: Inkwell Description: Wide, low box with overhanging top featuring around the edges double incised lines which cross at corners, the top double-hinged at center; the two flaps open to reveal on one side a compartment divided into three equal squares (one with canted corners formed by small metal inserts), the other side a single compartment with maker's marks stamped on the bottom; the whole resting on four partial bun feet of metal cylinders cut off at bottom edge.
