Description: Long subtly tapered cylinder of finely finished mahogany with brass 2-part molding at widest end from which a round brass molding containing disk of glass can be unscrewed; at the narrow end, by gently pulling on the narrow tapered end or eyepiece, a brass cylinder can be pulled out of the wood, doubling the length of the telescope.
