Description: Single long piece of worn wood with many visible splits and knotholes. One end notched out, perhaps to receive a reciprocating log. Loaned to the Park with the oral tradition that the log was used in the construction of a hut for the colonial troops during the American Revolutionary War encampment at Valley Forge during the winter of 1777 - 78.
