Description: Hilt with ball finial with swirling engraving, straight grip with spiral braid design, thin "c"-shaped handle with engraved central panel, bottom of handle has two-part flaring tips, fastened at center to solid stop with central shell motif, fastens to an unevenly three-sided tapered blade with faint traces of engraved floral decoration on the upper third. Four makers marks stamped on upper curve of c-shaped handle, now indecipherable due to dark tarnish.
